Anna pursued two Bachelor’s degrees at universities in Prague (Economics & Media studies). During her Master’s studies in Banking and Finance at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, Anna started her career with a long-term internship at UBS Wealth Management in Zurich. After finishing her studies, she returned to Prague and joined Kearney management consulting for about a year. She however seeked a more specific job and decided to start working for an M&A boutique CORPIN which serves as a direct partner of the Rothschild investment bank for the Czech and Slovak markets. 

After spending 5.5 year in the investment banking industry, Anna wanted to make a career change and work closer to individual businesses. Therefore she joined Miton, a privately owned venture capital company investing mainly into B2C start-ups, where she was been working since autumn 2019. Miton has a great track record in the Czech Republic and had some very successful exits in the past. Anna works closely with one of the partners on selected start-ups from Miton’s portfolio. 

Anna will be happy to provide her mentees with insight on the industries she has been working in since she experienced a path of working for a large bank, moving on to management consulting and M&A advisory, to finally settling in the VC and start-up world. She could help navigate one’s career and provide her personal experience. 

In her free time she likes to travel, spend time in nature and is interested in topics about mental health and living a conscious life. In June she will give birth to a baby boy and therefore will be happy to share experience of combining her family life with her career.
