about gabriele

I worked more than 30 years in the automotive industry for Mercedes and BMW. I started with a trainee program, spend my first years in plant logistics (planning and operational) and sales. I worked as executive assistant for two board members at Mercedes.
Since 2005 I was head of procurement in very different assignments (indirect and direct procurement; strategic and operational procurement).
In 2018 I joined BMW as head of procurement and moved from Stuttgart to Munich.
I have two daughters (21 and 24). Therefore I am very familiar in topics like combining family with career.
Since 2022 I work as consultant, interim-manager and professor at DHBW in Stuttgart. I like my flexibility and freedom with this new working model.
I do a lot of sports, sing in a choir, play piano and meet my friends.
