Cynthia Chan is the Managing Director of Catalyse, Singapore’s only consultancy focused on

workplace harassment and systemic culture change. She began her career with the U.S. Air

Force in a deeply male-dominated environment. By 29, she became Head and Chief

Representative of a global design firm, and later joined the leadership team of the world’s

largest project management company as the first Asian woman in that role.

Over the years, Cynthia has lived and led across San Francisco, New York, Seattle, Hong

Kong, Shanghai, and now Singapore. She has built teams, grown businesses, and delivered

results in some of the world’s most complex and high-pressure corporate environments.

With more than 30 years of experience navigating performance, politics, and pressure at the

top, she supports senior professionals through reorgs, career transitions, and leadership

identity shifts through her coaching platform, The Rewrite. She is currently training in

psychotherapy and integrates narrative, cognitive-behavioral, and person-centric approaches

to help leaders reclaim influence, navigate complexity, and shape how they show up in high-

stakes spaces.
