Johannes has his background in the FMCG industry where he scaled a food company to Austria's most modern coffee roastery. During his 9 years as a CEO at J. Hornig coffee together with his team he could nearly double the revenue to about 20 million Euros and could significantly improve the earnings capacity of the company. Most importantly it was possible to find a clear positioning, vision, mission and values for the company and the coffee brand.

At the end of 2020 Johannes decided to switch to the non executive board of J. Hornig and focus on his activities as a business angel, entrepreneur and investor. He is constantly undergoing personal development programs as he has just finished a business coaching degree and yoga teacher training. Currently Johannes advises different startups and entrepreneurs and helps them to scale their companies and improve their lives for the better.
