Muki is a multi-award-winning CIO, Executive XR/MetaTech Producer and Creative Technologist with over two decades of pioneering interactive, immersive experiences for music, sport, entertainment & broadcasting.

In 2022 Muki was named on LinkedIn as one of the ‘Top 20 Women in the Metaverse’ and at AWE EU’22 she celebrated a prestigious Auggie Award with music composer VR tool Patch XR (Start-Up to Watch) with whom she’s been an Advisory Board member since 2018.

Currently, Muki is also the Innovation Co-Lead for the IBC Accelerators Media Innovation Programme, leading media & broadcasting consortiums to develop groundbreaking R&D solutions for industry-focussed challenges in Volumetric Video, Virtual Production, 5G XR Sport, Synthetic Humans, Real-Time 3D Assets, Web3, Blockchain, 6DoF Spatial Audio and more.

Other recent XR strategy clients include Paramount/Viacom and Mozilla, and with the National Gallery & PlaylinesAR, she Exec’d and launched the critically acclaimed “Art of London: Augmented Gallery” location-based app. In 2019 they also created the spatial audio drum’n’bass hit Harry Shotta’s ‘Consequences’, and supported by BoseAR, it was awarded the headline experience at Raindance Immersive, Digital Catapult’s Surroundscapes, and won the Innovation in Storytelling Prize runner-up at Future of Storytelling (FoST) in NYC.

Previously, after ten years in the ‘00s of launching MTV’s first interactive digital platforms, websites and apps, Muki went on to Executive Produce for scores of other A-List titles like Marvel, Angry Birds, Samsung, and BBC’s The Voice UK, where she created “The Virtual Voice’, BBC’s first-ever series of 360°VR “way back” in 2015.

A familiar face on the global speaking circuit, Muki is in demand as an MC/Host, Chair and Keynote speaker, and also sits on several Advisory Boards, Juries and Committees for such prestigious names like SXSW, IBC, Mobile World Congress, AWE, SportsPro/Ignition, Abbey Road Studios Spatial Audio Forum, Soho Media Club, Media Production Technology Show, Audio Engineering Society, Women in Immersive Tech, XRSI/CyberXR Coalition and more, and is a regular contributor to tech papers, standards and thought leadership publications focussing on emerging and progressive technologies for media and entertainment.
